What’s This Now?

Yeah, so my foray into constant updates has hit a snag these last couple of weeks. I hate making excuses for missing updates, but I’m going to do so anyway.

It really all comes down to the fact that the only real comic-producing time available to me is during the weekend. The couple hours I scrape together each weekday just don’t cut it. Sure, I could cobble together an extra strip over the course of those five days, but a guy’s gotta play video games, ya know. Currently, I do have several pieces of a new strip complete, but I then decided that it’s not actually going to be the next strip, making my progress on it somewhat worthless at the moment.

Though the “filler Fridays” I was doing for a while annoyed me (I especially dislike all the interruptions they create in my archives), I think I’m going to reserve the right to bring them back. Only, with a twist. Yes, just like Exploding Dog, Strong Bad, and Spamusement, I plan on relying on letting someone else do all the hard work of thinking of something to do.

What am I blathering about? Only this: Let me know what you’d like to see, and if I’m running out of time for a comic, you just might see it! Want to see the Muffin King jumping rope? Okay! Curious what Andrew’s closet looks like? I’m there! Desire to see the cast wearing crotchless furry suits? No? Boy, am I glad for that.

If you want to be sure that may anti-spam filter doesn’t zap you, put “Friday Filler” somewhere in the subject line. Please no story ideas, as that will just make me feel bad that I didn’t think of it first.

I do have plans to make more efficient use of my time, so this isn’t a permanent cop-out, just a fall-back one.
